Hi I'm Darcie from Port Douglas State School and i would like to know what animals, plants and features would be affected by the new tourisim contract that tour oporaters would like to run in antartica. Could you please send back to my e-mail address: dcart28@eq.edu.au
Odd that "Closed Season" redirect here, as the normal open season for deer, turkey and many other animals in North America is specifically during the breeding season. Whitetail deer are most commonly hunted during "the rut" in North America. Some states open turkey season only during their breeding season, which is in the spring, while others have both a fall and spring season for turkey. Kemkerj (talk) 04:11, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
I removed the "Closed Season" completely, as it is entirely inaccurate and there is no reference provided to back up the claims. It appears to have been included more as a supposition based upon someone's concept of what they'd do, rather than actual wildlife management practices. Kemkerj (talk) 18:29, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
