Merge
[edit]I suggest that this article should be merged with Standard of care in English law. Piotrnikitin (talk) 17:39, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
I disagree with a merger because standard of care and breach are two different concepts. I think this article provide more content on breach and focus less on standard of care. EECavazos (talk) 07:34, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
As far as I understand, the definition of a breach of duty is when the defendant failed to live up to the standard of care incumbent on him in the circumstances. There is very little that can be added to this without a detailed discussion of standard of care. Either this article should contain no more than this definition and a link to the article on standard of care, or it should be merged with the standard of care article.Piotrnikitin (talk) 14:55, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
