Several Additions
[edit]An Early History section was added. Couldn't get the in-line citations (which apply to the section as a whole) to come out looking as I would like; improvement by someone more knowledgeable is welcome. An article on James Braidwood does not exist but is planned (link color will change when the article exists, without additional changes to this article). A Notable People section was added, and one entry was moved from the article's lead paragraphs. Added a Notes section for the references, which automatically includes two previously cited but heretofore unseen references. 24.178.228.14 (talk) 23:34, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

Post Office
[edit]I have removed a parenthetical comment to the effect that the Braidwood post office was burned down by Vietnam War protesters in 1969. Feel free to restore it if a good source is found. brtom (talk) 15:56, 28 January 2019 (UTC)
History since 1880s?
[edit]The article clearly needs attention to Braidwood's 20th century history. I'll do what I can, but please help if you are able. I realize that sources may be hard to find. brtom (talk) 16:44, 28 January 2019 (UTC)
