Improving the article
[edit]Editor Bradleycharrison (talk · contribs) has removed the tags from the "multiple issues" and has requested feedback on improving the article.
I have edited the "Early life and education" section to indicate the kinds of improvement that are still needed:
- I have added "[citation needed]" tags to statements that have no source; see WP:V.
- I have removed an unsourced claim that his military career was "successful". It may well have been, but without a reliable source to confirm this, the article should not say so.
- I have removed the flowery language that he "was fortunate enough to work with" various people; see WP:TONE.
- I have removed unnecessary links to external websites. Just because an article mentions organisation XYZ, that doesn't mean it should include a link to XYZ's home page. See this guideline.
- I have added "[failed verification]" to a URL that seemed to be used as a source for one of the statements, but in fact leads to a page that does not mention Brad Harrison anywhere.
The rest of the article needs just as much work as this section. -- John of Reading (talk) 16:24, 7 September 2013 (UTC)
