Child sex tourism.

Area and country is a stop on the international Child sex tourism circuit. Officially, it's just the "gay" part of the very prevalent sex industry in Pattaya. I visited Pattaya with the US Navy a number of times and walked past the area in daylight, saw advertisements for very young boys and an older Western man holding the hand of a Thai boy disappearing into a doorway.
