Timeshare or Hot bunking

This disambiguation page read: "Box and Cox is a timeshare or hot bunking arrangement of shared use...." However, neither the timeshare nor hot bunking articles even mention "Box and Cox", and, of course, they do not mention it with a WP:RS that would verify the usage. It would make sense, if they did so, and the term would obviously be derived from the play Box and Cox (farce), which is about two lodgers inadvertently renting the same room, one of whom works during the day, and the other at night. -- Ssilvers (talk) 17:37, 29 December 2017 (UTC)

As Bconrad noted, refs don't go here. What you would need to do, if you want to mention the timeshare job sharing and hot bunking articles on the Disambiguation page, is to write about "Box and Cox" in each of the timeshare, job sharing and hot bunking articles, stating that the importance of the term "Box and Cox" to those articles, together with references. On its face, It seems clear that the term is derived from the play, so the new material at those three articles should explain the etymology. Then you could link it in this disambiguation page. Note that OED is a subscription site, so the refs should so note. Moreover, a dictionary definition is not enough: you need to show that the term is noteworthy in those three articles. -- Ssilvers (talk) 19:07, 29 December 2017 (UTC)
