Napoleon III?

This account, from Unilever, seems most unlikely; the time from the declaration of the Franco-Prussian War to Napoleon's defeat in September is really too little for Johnston to have gone to Canada and shipped back beef juice. Furthermore, the Dictionary of National Biography has a more plausible story, dating this to 1874: Johnston had a canning factory, which made canned beef for the French Third Republic, canned tomatoes, and canned juice - the last became Bovil. I propose to edit. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 02:39, 30 January 2018 (UTC)
