Minor, forgettable sports thick gets to keep article just like all the others! Gefeliciteerd!

It must have been the OTHERSTUFFEXISTS that did it. Lighten up, Snowman! I was mostly being sarcastic when I said that.

But now, on to something a bit more serious: the "family name hatnote" and the "DEFAULTSORT" instruction seem to be at odds with each other, with the former making Boudewijn's surname out to be "de Geer, not Geer", and the latter suggesting that it is "Geer", without the "de" part.
