Retirement dates of several persons

[edit]

Why there isn't noted when Jim Loscutoff, Frank Ramsey and Johnny Most retired in the Retired Numbers Section? Shakurazz (talk) 16:14, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why is it noted that Reggie Lewis retired. Dying from Sudden cardiac death is definately not retiring. Bazzledorf (talk) 17:11, 3 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The dates are intended to indicate when the number was retired, not when the person retired. You'll note that Bill Russell's number indicates 1972, when the number was retired, and not 1969, when Russell himself retired. Further, Number 1 was retired for Walter Brown after his death as well, so it falls under the same category as Lewis' #35. Brad E. Williams (talk) 11:32, 4 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Citation locations

[edit]

If anyone has a better way to format the citations, please move them there. I put them on separate lines because putting them on the same line as the headline messed up the headline formatting, and I couldn't figure out a better place to put them. Brad E. Williams (talk) 13:32, 8 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Retired section : Reggie Lewis

[edit]

After Lewis' name is written pg as if his position was point guard. He definitely wasn't a pg. He played as shooting guard or small forward. 194.230.158.101 (talk) 22:37, 28 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
