Inaccurate previous description
I have expanded and made accurate this article's content based on my own experience as a skilled clicker. My father worked in management of the same business. I tried to obtain images recorded by the local paper at the factory where we worked from the local museum but it was impossible due to Copyright, Copyright, Copyright. I will add some ext links later, not ideal but better than nothing.
I've added some wikilinks but the 'press' link is the nearest I could find, not ideal. I've tried to keep it basic, not too-technical. I have also written this in English but I am aware that there are pro-American bigots operating on WP, going through changing the text. I am also aware that this will regarded as OR but I would prefer WP to be accurate, not misleading as previously and I would prefer no more banner-flag waving. I cannot find any sources online.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 12:32, 5 May 2014 (UTC)
Title change
[edit]I have changed the title of this article to more-accurately reflect current convention. The word "Bootmaker" as originally used is an antiquated expression.
When I researched the origins of this article by Googling, it appears the original editor was researching his ancestry and unearthed an historic document which described their ancestor as a "Bootmaker clicker". The editor then posted queries on forums - 'What is a Bootmaker clicker?' - and then proceeded to establish a WP article by copy/pasting an answer provided by an individual responder - a non-reliable and unverified source.
The article is now accurate with a few images to illustrate, but will be difficult to conventionally verify.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 18:19, 20 September 2014 (UTC)
