Black vs. African American vs. Afro

What is the convention? Do we use the insulting (in my opinion) nomenclature of the time "black", the patronizing (in my opinion) but current "African American", or can we use what we will all be using in a hundred years (in my opinion) "Afro"? Anna Frodesiak (talk) 01:50, 2 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
