The Boktai pages are ailing! Can't someone make plot and character sections for each game? I'd be more than happy to add on as much as I can.
If you can do it, go ahead and put it on. I remember a characters of Boktai somewhere else, so you can probably expand on that here.72.130.241.83 01:25, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
Merge with Boktai (series) page
[edit]I don't know who suggested this, but I disagree. This suggestion is akin to saying we should merge the Legend of Zelda (series) page with the page for the first Zelda game. Where is the logic behind this suggestion?--LordHuffnPuff (talk) 13:07, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
Did this merge happen without any discussion? The Boktai (series) page redirects here, however it looks like that page never had any content.. It would be useful for this series to actually have a series page. Blearn (talk) 14:47, 23 October 2017 (UTC)
I found the history of the series page: [1]. The reasoning behind the merge was, "Due to a lack of references to establish a need for this series to have an article, redirected to the first game and salvaged content into a Legacy section." I'm pretty sure more references exist for this game series. I think we should gather more citations for validity and reopen the series page. Blearn (talk) 15:00, 23 October 2017 (UTC)

Boktai: The Sun Is in Your Hand → Boktai: The Sun is in Your Hand — Discussion copied from my user talk page; Anthony Appleyard (talk) 22:17, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
- The word "is" on the title of Boktai: The Sun is in Your Hand is not capitalized as you can see here. Moving the article back to Boktai: The Sun Is in Your Hand was a mistake. Jonny2x4 (talk) 17:42, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
- See WP:MOSTM. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 18:09, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
- It doesn't change the fact that the word "is" is not really capitalized on the actual cover. I changed the cover scan just in case so the word "is" can be seen clearer. Jonny2x4 (talk) 19:17, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
- Boktai: The Sun Is in Your Hand → Boktai: The Sun is in Your Hand — Its the official proper spelling of the title. The word "is" is not capitalized on the cover, despite a previous editor's insistence. — Jonny2x4 (talk) 17:49, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
- You probably mean Boktai: The Sun is in Your Hand, no? (Right now the proposed target is the same as the current title.) In any case, our naming conventions suggest capitalizing the word "is" consistently, so I don't think this is uncontroversial. Jafeluv (talk) 19:30, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
- Yes. I don't know what happened during the edit, but its been fixed. Jonny2x4 (talk) 20:47, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
- Do not move The MOS is clear on this, since "to be" is a verb, "is" should be capitalized. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 01:30, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
- I'm afraid I'm going to have to oppose the move. Yes, it's clear from the cover what the capitalization is on the book cover. However, Wikipedia has chosen to use a (more or less) consistent capitalization scheme for names of works (see the third paragraph in Wikipedia:Naming conventions (capitalization)), and according to that convention the word "is" is always capitalized. This comes up rather often in move discussions – sometimes it's decided in favour of the MoS, sometimes against it (eg. here). This makes it evident that there's no clear consensus on what the convention should actually be. However, as long as there's no consensus to change the manual of style, I think it should normally be followed. Jafeluv (talk) 07:48, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

Boktai, lack of some important information.
[edit]I just read the article about Boktai: The sun is in your hand and it's quite good. However, the article misses a lot of important information about the story of the game itself. The article is more a detailed page, informing the people about the cartridge(wich isn't bad), but not about the characters or the story itself. I will try to improve the page, starting by today and any suggestion is welcome. (Or objection, but be polite). Boktor666 (talk) 12:54, 28 May 2010 (UTC)Boktor666
