Neutrality Questioned

[edit]

I am questioning the neutrality of the article. Parts of the article seem to take the point of view of the person. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gamepolice (talkcontribs) 01:59, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

How so? I don't understand what you're saying. BS24 (talk) 18:03, 30 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Gamepolice hasn't given specific examples so I'll go ahead and remove the tag. BS24 (talk) 18:19, 31 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think that you cannot say his pizza place is a great success and cite his campaign website. That is hardly a neutral source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.191.175.6 (talk) 14:38, 29 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism by 173.28.114.94

[edit]

Someone has reverted it, but 173.28.114.94 deleted the "Criticisms of Hare" page. His record shows a history of vandalism. Keep an eye out for him. BS24 (talk) 20:53, 18 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In general

[edit]

I formatted and sequenced the article to be more in line with other Nominee articles and added the usual External links. However, the sections aren't written in an encyclopedic fashion so it still needs work. I suggest those contributing read other Biography articles to get a better idea of the difference between a neutral encyclopedia article about someone, and a collection of snippets from a campaign brochure (including the 'news' section). I realize people can feel very strongly about the candidate they support, but this is supposed to be an encyclopedia. Flatterworld (talk) 14:23, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article is getting worse - this is NOT supposed to be a blog aimed at his campaign supporters, but an encyclopedia article about the person. Flatterworld (talk) 18:41, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I concur. Also, some of the material is not reliably sourced. --Nuujinn (talk) 01:51, 17 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Can you give specific suggestions? The criticisms of Hare section was deleted which I think is fair. BS24 (talk) 01:11, 25 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, it's looking better. --Nuujinn (talk) 23:34, 19 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Weasel?

[edit]

Exactly what do you consider weasel words? Lionel (talk) 08:44, 24 February 2011 (UTC) Please keep in mind "that other people who might be interested in fixing the problem (or who might dispute the tag) might not immediately see the same problems you do. Even if the problem seems obvious, it's useful to leave a short note on the talk page describing the issue, and suggesting an approach to fixing it if you know how" WP:TAGGING Lionel (talk) 08:47, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The statement in the tag is simply false; the tag should be removed. --Kenatipo speak! 15:45, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Bob's for jobs?

[edit]

Very odd to find mr. Schilling's portrait on this Facebook page, as if he is a team member of this apparently fraudulent [1] company Graham Recruiting. According to some postings on boards it may be the work of Orlando conman Alec Difrawi. — Preceding unsigned comment added by WeatherFug (talkcontribs) 19:51, 9 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

So if he appears on any company's Facebook page, he works for them? NYyankees51 (talk) 21:20, 9 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
No, of course not. This was meant to be satirical. Sorry for any inconvenience. --WeatherFug (talk) 21:50, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Inaccuracy

[edit]

It says he is in favor of small government, and then goes on to say that he supports gov limits on abortions, troop surge in afghanistan. Etc. Saying he supports small gov is not a real policy position. It is more of a political talking point — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.191.175.6 (talk) 14:42, 29 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
