Not a discography

This is not a discography; it's also a bibliography and filmography. —msikma <user_talk:msikma> 18:28, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

The Gaslight tapes

I happen to own a copy of this cd but i can't find information about it anywhere. does anyone know anything about it? I can upload a scan of the CD cover if it helps.

--What kind of info? The CD is on Amazon, that provides some info.

The Bootleg Series, Vols. 1-3 : Rare And Unreleased, 1961-1991

I added this into the discography, under "Collections." But for some reason I couldn't get it to link to the main Wiki page on it, which can be found here:

http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/The_Bootleg_Series_Volumes_1-3_(Rare_&_Unreleased)_1961-1991

Maybe someone else can make it link? I copied and pasted the format used for the other releases on this page, so I'm not sure what the problem is.

Oh yeah, and I also did not have time to track down and add in the US/UK chart positions, etc., but I figured that including it without these was better than disincluding it altogether.

Fair use rationale for Image:30thAnniversaryConcert.jpg

Image:30thAnniversaryConcert.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.Betacommand (talkcontribsBot) 05:32, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

Fair-use on discographies test case

Please see Talk:The_Beatles_discography#Poll_on_the_use_of_fair-use_images_on_this_page_and_the_interpretation_of_policy which is acting as a test case in this matter. Jooler 09:42, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

Summary

Somebody should make a summary of all these releases at the top —Preceding unsigned comment added by 116.199.209.40 (talk) 10:43, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

Why is The Last Waltz listed here?

It was a project of The Band's in which Dylan was only one of more than a dozen guests, not a collaboration (such as Before the Flood). It should be removed. Edgehawk (talk) 14:05, 21 March 2009 (UTC)

Live 1966 with The Band

Has anyone heard of this? It's mentioned in the sleeve notes to 'The Essential Bob Dylan' which was released around 2000 as 'recent' but it's a new one on me and not mentioned here either. Anybody know please?  SmokeyTheCat  •TALK• 19:32, 20 September 2009 (UTC)
