As of now, it reads as follow : Blue-streaked lorikeets are considered to make excellent pets. The bird is sweet and affectionate. It loves to play with bells and cat-toy-like balls. It may 'dance' by fluffing up its feathers and hopping. This animal is no longer being shipped to the U.S.A, thus making it harder to have one as a pet. However, those that do own one of these birds all claim they are sweet, lovely additions to the family.

If such claims are deemed of encyclopedic relevance, they should have a citation and state precisely who has this opinion. I couldn't find a reliable source for those claims. Maby a native English speaker will meet success with this task. Correjon (talk) 22:18, 18 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What is the basis for using the name Eos lotor? Every source uses Eos reticulata, including other pages in wikipedia. Putting Eos lotor gets me results about cars. Chillidobe (talk) 00:18, 16 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
