What does it let through? --142.157.70.8 (talk) 16:14, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
How come then that on a spermogram (or is it spelled spermogramme?) they always find antibodies bound to several sites, but all is OK if the percentage of affected sperm cells is below a certain limit ? By the looks of that, I'd say it's normal to have SOME antibodies getting past the blood-balls-barrier. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.10.155.55 (talk) 04:11, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
Lifetime of sperm in the bloodstream?
[edit]So my question here for any medical doctor (I cannot find the answer online) is how long can sperm live in the bloodstream? The question came up because I donate blood like clockwork every 8 weeks, but I had a vasectomy 4 years ago. Assuming I fall under normal odds, I should have sperm in my bloodstream along w/antibodies for those sperm. Would it be possible that I donate blood and some female w/trama injuries receives my blood but gets pregnant from that as well?
