Episode Guide

The episode guide for Blaze and the Monster Machines is not right. The episodes never split into two separate seasons. Season 2 premieres next week with the episode Fired Up not Season 3. Season 3 was basically confirmed for next year. --Bigteddy1 (talk) 14:22, 17 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

AJ and Gabby

Two issue here: unsourced material and othering.

Unsourced material is simple enough. Prior to my edits, the article gives the characters' ages. In articles for kids' TV shows and movies, ages are often added and frequently changed based on what kids have decided they are. Unless the characters' ages are specifically stated in the show/film or discuss in reliable sources, they simply don't belong here.

"Othering" is a bit more complicated. Before my edits, the article said Gabby is a girl and AJ is Filipino (though someone else said African-American). Basically, this is saying that white boys are somehow "normal" and we just need to know who is somehow different. Instead of saying Gabby is a girl and AJ is Filipino, we could have said Gabby is white and AJ is a boy. Neither one is necessarily right and it doesn't matter to the show. Unless the sources discuss the characters' race/ethnicity/sex/gender, just leave it out. - SummerPhD^v2.0 22:22, 25 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
