Another blaze island in Canada
[edit]At 49°19′42″N 94°48′28″W / 49.32833°N 94.80778°W (see on google map) the island on Canada's side of border is also called Blaze Island. I think we don't have a page about it, but we need to disambiguate the confusion which maybe caused by it by some means. ExclusiveEditor (talk) 19:34, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
- Google Maps is not a reliable source, so before we do anything else we need to verify that that island is indeed called "Blaze Island". Thryduulf (talk) 20:50, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
- There's no need to disambiguate this article from another that doesn't exist yet. If and when such an article is established, this is easy to disambiguate because the other one's in Ontario. PKT(alk) 21:00, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
- Here's the reference for this Blaze Island and here is the reference for the Ontario Blaze Island. And these are the only two Blaze Islands in Canada. If anyone comes here looking for the Ontario island they will discover soon enough that this is not it. They then may be encouraged to create a Blaze Island (Ontario) and if it is necessary this can be moved to Blaze Island (Nunavut). I'm surprised that there are no other Blaze Islands on Wikipedia.
