Infobox too crowded

[edit]

I've just done a bit of editing on the "Activities" section to trim it down a bit (the Sky bit was verging on the tl;dr side, with a bit too much reported speech). As per MOS:INFOBOX, I think the infobox is a bit too crowded, and I don't think citations are necessary there so long as they're in the article to support the text. What about just listing the main offences (firstly re inciting contempt), then one or two of the more serious ones (aggravated burglary, stalking?), then "and others"? I'm not even sure whether it's worth putting the Criminal penalties in there... If his main claim to notoriety was just being a criminal (e.g. a serial killer), then those details are appropriate - but as he's currently mostly an extremist loudmouth with thuggish inclinations, it seems more appropriate to focus on his "political" influence, IMO. (Re Frankston - I don't know about evidence for this, but I'd probably just say Melbourne, as all of his activities are there... Frankston is only meaningful for Melbourne residents.) Hi, sorry for the delayed response, I don't know why I never noticed this. Yes, I agree 100% Bacondrum (talk) 05:00, 9 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

covid misinformation

[edit]

Cottrell is accused of spreading COVID misinformation, but the article cited to make this claim gives no examples of the misinformation that Cottrell had allegedly spread. It relies on one person claiming, without evidence, that Cottrell was spreading COVID misinformation. 2601:985:800:57E0:D523:C534:C309:FCA1 (talk) 08:11, 14 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It's a reliable source. AlanStalk 14:08, 14 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Indeed, I is a reliable source, and now AlanS has added another reliable source that makes the same claim. Tambor de Tocino (talk) 01:41, 15 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
There is a Herald Sun source which I suspect makes similar claims but alas I'm unable to confirm as such because of a pay wall. AlanStalk 02:36, 15 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
