[edit]

Having watched a repeat of the programme recently, I have made slight adjustments to the text. However, are we sure that this was the first railway viaduct? Is the Causey arch not older? I was also disappointed to find no article on the Blaenavon Ironworks, which are the main reason for inscription as a World Heritage site. Peterkingiron 16:11, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have come across some Blaenavon steel rail in a far off place.

[edit]

It looks like it has been there for quite some time. It is among the remnants of an old logging railway in S.E British Columbia. I don't know the name of the operation that left it there, but this mountainside is littered with more of it. Just buried amongst the forest.

If anyone needs more info or can send me a note that this is indeed a Blaenavon example, send me a note to gudjeon (at) gmail (dot) com.

Thanks,
