writers need to read a book about the Army Comment

[edit]

Dear Editors, The Army guards were talking about throwing "Spears" into a brig. There is no brig in the Army; it is called a stockade. Also, "Spears" is wearing a private rank uniform and trying to order others around at the road block. Then, there are the Army lower ranks wearing neatly-trimmed beards; I could understand scruffy beards on everyone 6-weeks into the zombie apocalypse to show the collapse of good order in the ranks and lack of razors/resources. But, why neatly-trimmed beards on the Army? --Geraldshields11 (talk) 19:38, 11 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you whoever deleted the run-on-rant on April 15, 2019. My comment above is meant to improve the article and point out issues, not to hate on the good TV show. Geraldshields11 (talk) 16:01, 15 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Add the Structure to a section

[edit]

Throughout the episodes, the story is split into different 'chapters', the most obvious being the pilot, with headings separating them, often times switching the viewpoint to different characters or groups of characters. My initial thoughts are that we could put this into either the production, or create a new section. AquilaFasciata (talk) 18:51, 5 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Dear AquilaFasciata, I like both of your ideas. The production section might be a better place to discuss the chapters. The chapters in the show are a novel way of explain this type a zombie story. Geraldshields11 (talk) 15:19, 13 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Um, What???

[edit]

Lance didn't get up and attack because he was "only shot in the neck" and still alive. He died and became zombie.

Backwards segments

[edit]

I don't think they did this in season 1, but in season 2 the episodes mostly go backwards in time, making it confusing as hell to watch. We stopped watching half way through s2e2.

Based on Z Nation

[edit]

The series is credited as based on Z Nation by Karl Schaefer and Craig Engler in the end credits for both seasons, someone keeps removing it. 220.236.41.151 (talk) 02:57, 18 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Cancelled?

[edit]

Has the show been officially cancelled? I found this link from Bloody Disgusting that suggests the show has been reportedly cancelled by Netflix. The Film Creator (talk) 02:34, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It is sourcing What's on Netflix, FYI, What's on Netflix is not reliable source because it is a fan-operated website. — YoungForever(talk) 02:47, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
