Edited Intro
[edit]I made a small edit to the intro. It initially stated that the expedition set out from "modern day Bismarck, North Dakota, which was then Fort Abraham Lincoln." Bismarck was never known as Fort Abraham Lincoln, as Fort Abraham Lincoln was on the opposite side of the Missouri river. the Fort was south of present day Mandan. I thus corrected the article by stating that the party set off from Fort Abraham Lincoln, Dakota Territory, which is south of present day Mandan. Historicalsturgis (talk) 17:29, 4 January 2024 (UTC)
