Disambiguation

[edit]

Looking at the Wikipedia spainish page, it looks like there are many varieties of bizcocho, and they are not necessarily all from Uruguay. In fact, while my Spanish is rusty, it seems that the bizcochos of Uruguay and Argentina are different from other things also called this.

BizcochoBizcocho (Uruguay) — The baked good called bizcocho in Uruguay is a croissant, and apart from being a baked good it has nothing to do with bizcochos elsewhere. --Una Smith (talk) 16:13, 14 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Bizcocho" is just Spanish for "pastry". If it is specific to certain pastries in some places but not others or common in one place or not another, that doesn't warrant its own page. It's like having a page for pop, soda, coke, and soft drink. They should all just redirect to the same place. RMB1987 (talk) 01:12, 16 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Bizcocho

[edit]

Just added that sometimes it is used to describe a person like saying a bizcocho referring to a lady like to me. MarcyINFJ (talk) 19:13, 4 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
