I think that it might be a good idea change the name of this article to something to the effect of "Klenner-Lynch murders" and turn the focus onto the actual events rather than Bledsoe book. The Greensboro News & Record ran a series of retrospective articles starting May 27, 2015, about the killing themselves, their effects on various relatives, on Ian Perkins, and on various witnesses (e.g. Kerry Loggins, a boy who was near Klenner's SUV when it was blown up). There are also so divergences between the chronology as presented by Bledsoe and the one presented by the N&R articles. I may see if the used bookstore has a copy of Bitter Blood to compare the two. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2606:a000:101a:2c6:500a:8574:9703:304c (talkcontribs)

I think that's a good idea but I do not have the permission to change the name of the article. I think a separate article could be created for the events that circle around the book by Bledsoe. Bitterbl00d (talk) 21:03, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I concur (though I did split template and not merge because the book might also be notable). PARAKANYAA (talk) 11:03, 11 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with the original IP comment. It is very strange that we have an article on the book about the murders, but not the independently notable murders. I guess a split is a good first step - Klenner-Lynch murders sounds good to me. Bitter Blood: The Klenner-Lynch killings as a title suggests this would work, but using "murders" rather than "killings" should be fine as there was a conviction.
