Rename, at some point
[edit]At some point we should probably rename this article to Autodesk Stingray - but I'm not proposing that yet. To my mind a game engine derives a lot of its notability from its use in actual, published professional games. Right now I think the only game which is branded with Stingray is Vermintide. If Autodesk's play pays off, and they get a bunch of new licencees (and not just Fatshark) then we should start to see more Stingray branded games pretty soon, and we can make the judgement about if and when to rename then. -- Finlay McWalterᚠTalk 13:24, 31 January 2016 (UTC)
- Well, it's discontinued now. What now? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 196.90.4.20 (talk) 09:31, 15 March 2018 (UTC)
- It's not worth bothering about. -- Finlay McWalter··–·Talk 14:02, 23 May 2020 (UTC)
- It'll be interesting to see what game Fatshark release next, and what it uses for an engine. They still exist, and they still have openings for jobs on their website, but I don't believe they've announced anything after the release of Vermintide 2 a couple of years. All their recent games were Bitsquid. -- Finlay McWalter··–·Talk 14:11, 23 May 2020 (UTC)
