YouTube links
[edit]This article is one of thousands on Wikipedia that have a link to YouTube in it. Based on the External links policy, most of these should probably be removed. I'm putting this message here, on this talk page, to request the regular editors take a look at the link and make sure it doesn't violate policy. In short: 1. 99% of the time YouTube should not be used as a source. 2. We must not link to material that violates someones copyright. If you are not sure if the link on this article should be removed or you would like to help spread this message contact us on this page. Thanks, ---J.S (t|c) 05:10, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
Popularity
[edit]B. g. rhinoceros has always been much more popular in zoos around the world than B. g. gabonica, and all because of a little pair of raised internasal scales. Consequently, it looks like we're always going to have many more images of this subspecies than of the nominate. It would be nice if we had more text for this page so that we could place more of our images here without making it look too image-heavy, but I just don't have that much information that is specific to this subspecies. On the other hand, we could always use some more images of B. g. gabonica (the nominate subspecies) for the Bitis gabonica article. --Jwinius (talk) 23:50, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
