Consular Offices

[edit]

Should the Danish Consulate be mentioned (there are only five towns in Scotland that have diplomatic missions) and if so, where?Zagubov 19:22, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why not, as you mention there are only five in Scotland. Have you a reference for that fact, the article is very, very, short of references? Possibly in the Modern Bishopbriggs section.Pyrotec 20:04, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I stand corrected- it's closer to a dozen according to this official document.http://www.fco.gov.uk/Files/kfile/ConsularRepresentationoutsideLondon1.pdf. There's quite a few consulates springing up for newer EU nations. Still maybe it's worth mentioning nonetheless Zagubov 21:51, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Gaelic

[edit]

Can anyone add the Gaelic name of Bishopbriggs? Skinsmoke (talk) 16:22, 16 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dates of Residency

[edit]

Why include the actual precise dates Dirk Bogarde lived there? Nobody else has that much detail and it looks out of place.Zagubov (talk) 00:14, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
