Many things with the same name

[edit]

The biscuit warmer can be a silver piece that holds a couple of biscuits and is placed next to the open fire to keep them warm. It can be also called biscuit box - yet the latter name can also describe a cookie jar. In the 1950s in the USA a bun warmer name was also used - but the same name also described industrial-sized electric appliances in the hotels. I would suggest steering this article to silver pieces, now only valuable as collectibles. Викидим (talk) 07:44, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'm going to interpret this as moving towards what I just suggested at the AfD. If I'm misreading you, please accept this as being in good faith.
Based on my research, the silver plate pieces are the ones that are notable, and here are sufficient sources for notability of those items:
At the AfD I suggested delete as currently this article is about a box-of-lost-toys category that isn't notable as a group. In theory, though, there's nothing to stop this from being renamed to Folding biscuit box. That would mean I'd change my vote to a keep, but with the express intention of implementing the rewrite and rename. Oblivy (talk) 08:17, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
