To quote the opening paragraph of the article in its current version:
Birmingham Municipal Bank was created in Birmingham, England as the Birmingham Corporation Savings Bank to raise money to aid World War I by a 1916 Act of Parliament raised by Birmingham MP Neville Chamberlain.
While Chamberlain does appear to have been involved in its creation, he didn't become an MP until 1918, so I don't see how he could have raised an Act of Parliament. Which then asks: who did? --RFBailey (talk) 20:52, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
