Dispute Accuracy

[edit]

Patently the Birmingham boys (more usually known as the Brummagen Boys) were NOT from London, but from Birmingham. They were led by Billy Kimber and competed with the Sabinis for control of the betting on racetracks across the country in the 1920s. They were, however, allied particularly with the Elephant Boys from South London, hence the battle at Brighton, and initially with the Hoxton Mob before the Sabinis effectively subsumed that organization. Incidentally, only the third of the references seems to talk about them! VaughanAllen 09:50, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree the accuracy of this article is dubious, and the Birmingham Boys were not known for being homosexuals, I think you are confusing them with the Krays.

Was he born in 1884 or 1882, as both are given? Jackiespeel (talk) 18:17, 21 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Similarly did he die at Kings Cross or Torquay? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.68.80.59 (talk) 01:56, 14 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
