Prose

[edit]
  • Billy Yates was born on — I'd write full name "Billy Wayne Yates" on the first mention in the prose
  • in Wappapello, Missouri as a teen — missing MOS:GEOCOMMA
  • Yates traveled between Missouri and Nashville, Tennessee several times — missing MOS:GEOCOMMA
  • One of these songs, "I Don't Need Your Rockin' Chair", was released as a single that year and was nominated for a Grammy Award. — avoid starting a sentence by a number.
  • calling "Flowers" "maudlin" — missing comma
  • Suggesting to link AllMusic
  • After exiting Columbia, he founded his — at the start of every paragraph, we'll need to specify Yates. Replace "he" by "Yate"
  • "real people singing about real things" — we'll need a citation immediately after this quote
  • All the tables need caption. So:

{| class="wikitable plainrowheaders" style="text-align:center;"
|-

should be

{| class="wikitable plainrowheaders" style="text-align:center;"
|- {{Sronly|<appropriate caption text>}}

  • Overall, it is a well written article.
