New Info

[edit]

A recent editor has been updating this article with new information, but has not updated the cites and references which only cite the book "Shadow of Suribachi." Trouble is, this new information is not in that book (I wrote the original version of the article and used that book). Please add refs and cites for this new info. Thanks. Shadow of Suribachi (1995). Much of the updated and better information I been adding is from the Smithsonian Channel, 2008 documentary, History in HD - Season 1, Episode 8, "Shooting Iwo Jima" which shows the actual filmings Genaust took. [1]. I'm not all that skilled on how to reference or cite this the best way. If its not too much trouble for you, maybe you can help with this. YahwehSaves (talk) 18:11, 5 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Dates

[edit]

If he was missing on March 3, how is it known he died on March 4?

the article explains (with a link), he was ruled killed in action on the 4th. Sir Rhosis (talk) 21:52, 1 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
