[edit]Evidence??
I don't have evidence for Big C in Malaysia either, but I have entered Big C in Malaysia.--125.25.155.139 (talk) 15:15, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
Older U.S. Company
[edit]There was at least one Big C in the Hollywood District of Portland, Oregon in the 1950s and '60s. It was originally called Ceba's until c 1964. The store lasted until the early '70s, and later became a Gold's Gym. The building is now a Trader Joe's. My mother used to work there and I grew up just on the other side of the freeway. Remove store listings
[edit]The exhaustive listings of stores in this article will be a chore to keep up. I propose to replace them in a week or so with links to the Big C website, where they are listed by location and also include such info as address and hours of operation. Are there objections to this?Seligne (talk) 15:34, 3 September 2015 (UTC)

Big mistake about BigC Thailand and BigC Vietnam.
[edit]BigC Thailand and BigC Vietnam are not the same company. Both was own by Casino, but separately.
- The founder of BigC Vietnam was Cora (french/belgium group)
- The founder of BigC Thailand was Central Group.
Both was bought by the Groupe Casino
In 2016 Casino sold the 2 companies but not to the same buyer.
- BigC Thailand is now own by the Thai billionaire Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi
- BigC Vietnam was bought by Central Group (who was the founder of the brand in Thailand, but Central Group is not shareholder in BigC Thailand anymore). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2402:800:637D:E38A:95A2:91A8:113:6637 (talk) 11:05, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
