What this article lacks, imho

This is not a bad article, in that it adequately explains the Albrightian model and its rejection by modern scholars. But the aftermath is not written up well (I mean the 'Biblical archaeology today' section). There is no clear explanation of the new theories on the subject , instead there is an arcane (and not very germane here, I think) discussion of archeological methods. Besides, the whole section seems to give undue emphasis to the work of Devers (probably because it was written by an editor who read Devers' book).

Alas, I am not a professional at this or even a knowledgeable dilettante - my knowledge (at this stage, at least) is only sufficient to point out the gaps, not to fill them. So hope someone picks up the golve who is qualified to do so. Bazuz (talk) 07:57, 10 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
