Move?

[edit]

Should the page be moved from "Better in Time" to "Better in Time (Song)" because all of her other released songs have "(Song)" at the end of their articles?12bigbrother12 (talk) 16:05, 9 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No, it's not an ambiguous title so there's no need to disambiguate. But it would be "(song)" rather than "(Song)". anemoneprojectors 18:38, 9 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
In fact, "Footprints in the Sand" is the only one with a disambiguator at the moment. anemoneprojectors 18:40, 9 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Date has been pused back to 15th July

Hey guys Better in time has a new release date of 15th July. (Sexty2 (talk) 17:22, 18 June 2008 (UTC))[reply]

YouTube

[edit]

On Leona Lewis' YouTube page, US YouTubers can only view the video of "Better in Time" with the scenes of Leona and the horse included with it. There is another music video of "Better in Time" uploaded today that US residents can not view, but in the article of this song, it states, "For the US release, the "Better In Time" music video was slightly changed. The scenes featuring Lewis with a horse were replaced with additional shots from the other parts of the video." Contradiction, I think so. Leor Natanov (talk) 01:30, 9 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The modified video is almost certainly intended for the US market. However, there appears to be a problem with the broadcast options. This will probably be corrected in due course. ~ smb 09:37, 9 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It has been two days already... the error still remains. Leor Natanov (talk) 05:39, 11 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
There is no contradiction. I have seen the re-edited United States video; the horse scenes have indeed been removed. It is this video that is currently playing to American audiences. YouTube is merely a technicality. ~ smb 07:35, 11 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I have totally agreed with you in the beginning. I just hope YouTube corrects this error. Leor Natanov (talk) 04:47, 13 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Still not corrected.Leor Natanov (talk) 00:22, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
This is a matter that concerns the official channel and not Wikipedia. It's not easy to communicate with them. — eon, 09:32, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Vocal Range

[edit]

The highest pitch in the song is a G#5 in falsetto at the end as the song fades. Not a B5. Listen to the falsetto note at the end of the song and then listen to the B5 in I Will be. Common sense tells you that they are not the same pitch. The only source I have for this is my knowledge of vocals, especially Leona's. calvin999 (talk) 18:34, 15 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is original research and we have it sourced to the sheet music, you can't get much more reliable than that. –anemoneprojectors10:44, 16 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well, it's wrong lol. Listen to that note in Better In Time and then the B5 in I Will Be. Common sense tells you that they are not the same pitch. Mores to the point, Leona replicated the same note live in at the end of Better in Time, and it is a G#5. calvin999 (talk) 13:02, 16 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Common sense and "it is [note] because I studied music" are not reliable sources. Tbhotch* ۩ ۞ 18:09, 16 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
This is so frustrating! lol calvin999 (talk) 19:04, 16 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
