Spy?

[edit]

Was he a spy? The word "spy" is not to be found in the text, but he is categorized as such. Is there a reliable source that credits him as such? Regards,Jeff5102 (talk) 10:33, 23 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Illustration

[edit]

Ciao, I removed the image as de la Broquière wrote his book in 1432-1433 and the capture of Constantinople occurred in 1453. The miniature is by Jean Le Tavernier [fr], part of a manuscript of three latin texts translated by Jean Miélot. It does not illustrate the translation of de la Broquière's text. Thank you. I have replaced it with a new image. Srnec (talk) 03:50, 16 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you too for the upload. I will include the new image on other wikipedia pages, it makes much more sense. --Msbbb (talk) 05:46, 16 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
