[edit]This page should not be speedily deleted because... (your reason here) --Theodulf 13:23, 26 May 2015 (UTC) This article meets the requirements in Wikipedia:Notability_(music) in the following area:
- "Is an ensemble which contains two or more independently notable musicians" - The other three members of the Amsterdam Loeki Stardust Quartet, Daniël Brüggen, Paul Leenhouts and Karel van Steenhoven, are well known on their own, and have their own entries in Wikipedia.
- "Has released two or more albums on a major record label" - The albums by the Amsterdam Loeki Stardust Quartet have been some of the most successful in the early music market. In particular, their first CD Virtuoso Recorder Music was extremely well received.
- "Has won or placed in a major music competition" - Amsterdam Loeki Stardust Quartet's second place in the 1981 Musica Antiqua Bruges competition was very controversial and their career has eclipsed the winner of that event. They have received numerous awards since then.
