Links to fansite.... Nothing is really there so it shouldent be put there however it dosent fall under link spam IMO Mike Beckham 13:47, 20 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The reason it is link spam is that the owner of the site is trying to promote it here. Barrylb 04:44, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My God! All this for an extinct game show that lasted a year or less!

That's what I came here to say! Format (talk) 08:06, 13 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"A Ratings Booster" - deleted!

[edit]

I was just wondering why the user with the IP address of 71.106.105.193 deleted the section on the ratings details called "A Ratings Booster"?? I don't see why it had to be deleted... --Darijoe 06:45, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Neither do I. I have added it back and with some more recent information on how the feud is now beating the deal in Melbourne (Deal is 228,000 while Feud is 238,000) Lakeyboy 08:43, 3 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I removed NPOV text from before and unsourced information. If you wish to add things like quotes and ratings info please Cite Sources Lakeyboy. Mike Beckham 13:39, 3 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
But the original comments that you reverted to has information about ratings without citing sources. Brissie 16:09, 7 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Anyone know who's won five nights and cash jackpots...

[edit]

I only know the Johnsons and the Amey family won five nights. On the 9th of June 2006, a family won $100,000. Does anyone know the families. It would be great if viewers knew the identity of the families.

If I'm not mistaken, the winning family was the Pezzulich family, and the family they won against was the Grundy family. --Green Lantern
Actually, the Pezzulich family won against the Austen family. Grundy is one of the companies that produces Bert's Family Feud. --Darijoe 08:45, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Merging of Friday Night All Stars article into this one

[edit]

As I posted on the water....123's talk page, the FNAS doesn't warrant it's own article and the current article basicly repeats the information which is already on the Bert's Family Feud page. It would be good to get some other opinions on this. I'm all for the merge. Lakeyboy 09:02, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Axed

[edit]

Has this show been axed or shall i say boned? Crested Penguin 11:05, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Answer: With Bert's Family Feud axed, Andrew O'Keefe won the TV ratings prize!

Where was the spoiler warning?

[edit]

I think there should've been a spoiler warning put on this article as the final episodes have not yet been shown, yet the first paragraph mentions the final family's name and winnings.

Fair use rationale for Image:BertsFamilyFeud.JPEG

[edit]

Image:BertsFamilyFeud.JPEG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:47, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Memorable Occurrences

[edit]

How about we rename the "Memorable Occurences" section to "Stuff That Happened That Nobody Really Cares About And Should Be Removed From The Article"?

I can't believe such rubbish appears in an "Encyclopedia" article! Why not mention that Bert wore a black tie on 12 nights, but a red one on only 7! LOL

However, not wishing to tread on anyone's toes who MAY care about it, for now I have just corrected "Occurances" to "Occurrences" Ozzieboy (talk) 12:34, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Changed my mind....I have removed some "unmemorable" occurrences. Someone had to make a start on it. Ozzieboy (talk) 13:43, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Just 274 episodes were recorded"

[edit]

274 episodes seems quite a lot to me! But then I'm British, and "Family Fortunes" was a weekly show here. Even so, "just 274" looks pretty odd. 81.159.58.45 (talk) 13:47, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
