Nueva Germania says that Mr. Förster shot himself, but this article says that he poisoned himself. Which is correct?

He poisoned himself as Elisabeth persuaded the coroner not to record his death as suicide but as death from "nervous exhaustion" - which would have been difficult to achieve if he had a bullet in his head (this comes from MacIntyre and H.F.Peters

A teacher?
