Bernd Leno (born 4 March 1992) is a German professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Arsenal[1] and the German national team Gunners71 (talk) 04:02, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Not done - as that reference states "The deal is subject to the completion of regulatory processes." - we wait until these are complete. - Arjayay (talk) 08:19, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. All sources currently state that the deal is still "subject to the completion of regulatory processes" Nzd(talk)10:25, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Ladies and gents, can you please stop being so pedantic when it comes to accepting the changes on his club. Yes his contract stipulates he will not be an Arsenal player until 1st July, but to all intents and purposes, he is now an Arsenal player. He no longer plays for his old team so can we just let it go; the rules of player transfers were changed to allow confirmations slightly earlier so can we just accept it for all transfers going forward. He is not able to go back on the deal so he is now an Arsenal player. Stop being so pernickety. Otherwise we'll end up with "...is a player contracted to Club X until 31st June 20XX, at which point he will become a player for Club Y as the transfer has been confirmed" for every player! Just go with the the obvious please and allow the changes from fans for the various transfers that happen. Thanks GiggsIsLegend (talk) 16:49, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@GiggsIsLegend: I suggest that this would be better raised at WT:FOOTY. There is a long-standing consensus to wait until transfers have officially gone through (which I agree with). Obviously consensus can change, but I suspect it would be an uphill battle. As your point relates to all player articles though, this talk page isn't really the correct forum. You need to change on his career list that he changed to Arsenal
Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. L293D (☎ • ✎)02:04, 21 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
