[edit]

I've re-written this article, largely using The Penguin Guide to Jazz as a source. The previous version lacked sufficient references for a biography – the single sentence with in-line citations apparently served to indicate that the subject had performed with "well-known celbrities," and yet gave a red link as an example. (Why not simply point out that he appeared in The Talented Mr. Ripley?) No references showing that he attended the Academia dos Amadores de Música, for example. Or how he "became an expert:" according to whom? "It is well-known that in Portugal Jazz music isn’t valued, like it is in America...." Is this in spite of endeavors such as Clean Feed Records? (And what's the source for this, anyway?) No offense intended, but the previous version was more like a fan page. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 01:39, 13 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
