Exact DoB

Article has Jan. 3, not verified by any of the refs, and i'm not sure i saw any source for that that didn't look like it was copied from WP. "Bernard Greenhouse" partial chronology at the publisher of a series of paperback bios of cellists says Jan. 1, and (altho it's sloppy enuf to spell the month in German (Januar) in an English chronology, and other weak spelling) it gets some credibility for mentioning Newark, rather than just NJ. Can we come up with something more reassuring?

Cello "was to be sold"

About his cello: "Following his death it was to be sold..."

Either it was sold or it wasn't. The fact that it "was to be sold" is irrelevant - unless that's part of an important story about a failed or interrupted sale, which it apparently isn't. TooManyFingers (talk) 22:50, 22 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
