I have restored some of the earlier deleterious edits against his political involvements. – Kaihsu 19:24, 24 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Removed unreferenced POV

[edit]

As it doesn't seem very encyclopedic and isn't referenced, have removed the following:

He hankered after more. Professionally, he would have liked a chair at Oxford or Cambridge, and applied whenever there was a vacancy. But his face did not fit.

Text added by User:Spaventa

[edit]

There are some issues with the text added to the 'Career' section by User:Spaventa in this edit[1]. It is written in an inappropriate, journalistic style (with comments like 'The remark was an arrow without a target.' and 'Hardly PC but this was 1964.'), and doesn't have any sources. The fact that it was all added in one edit suggests to me it may have been copy-and-pasted from an article somewhere. In any case, the article needs to be cleaned up to make it better sourced and more objective. Robofish (talk) 11:58, 1 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

External reference question from user:Mandrillware

[edit]

Crick's co-author in the work on the Scottish Parliament, David Millar, died this year and has just had an obituary published here. Would it be appropriate to start a page on him? Mandrillware (talk) 20:02, 15 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
