- It's a proper noun and requires capitalization. I don't know why historians are falling down on this, but it's probably related to their rejection of title case in their citations. Otherwise good.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 23:27, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
- Yale University Press doesn't capitalise battles, for example. I've checked the MOS though; that doesn't think it is a proper noun, but in later sections notes it would prefer it capitalised as a class.. Will amend in a moment. Hchc2009 (talk) 23:55, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
- Whose half-brother? Richard II inherited Berkamsted Castle in 1377; initially the use of it was given to his favourite, Robert de Vere and, after de Vere's fall from power and exile in 1388, to John's half-brother,
- This is awkward: In 1863, when the surrounding estates and park were sold off altogether by the duchy to Earl Brownlow, and Brownlow agreed to rent the castle from the duchy as well for a nominal rent.

- I gather that Richard's Tower hasn't survived?
