The political ideology of 'Tony Benn' is particularly notable for its profound and everlasting impact on British politics and has been significantly influential on people and politicians alike across the years. 'Bennism' or 'Bennite' are clearly not terms coined by myself but terms that are very well known and have been commonly used for years in conservation, the media, books, autobiographies, websites, politial studies and debates. It is the general epitome for hard left, democratic socialist policies and for what is known as 'Old Labour'. Benn's ideology is notable for its Hard Euroscepticism, support for Unilateral Nuclear Disarmament, support for Trade Unionism, support for nationalization of britsh industries, anti-establishment rhetoric. But it is even more important for its opposition to New Labour and the adoption of Third Way politics, opposition to the Iraq War and the Labour governments of Blair and Brown.

I removed the speedy deletion tag, but I am not sure a standalone article is warranted. Bennite is a redirect to Tony Benn, and Bennism should also probably just redirect there. —Kusma (t·c) 20:29, 10 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
