The German Historical Institute in Washington DC has published a short biographical article on Benjamin Altman that can be found here: http://www.immigrantentrepreneurship.org/entry.php?rec=90 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Immigrantentrep (talkcontribs) 20:48, 21 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Altman Foundation?

[edit]

I removed this part: "Howard C. Altman has been the primary caretaker of the Altman Foundation. William Altman was slated to take over the Foundation upon his father's retirement but his untimely death has caused a tremor in the Foundation. The Altman Foundation reins will be handed down to Howard's youngest and only remaining son, Jack Carter Altman. Jack Altman, who is currently dating Alexandria D'onofrio , daughter of Vincent D'onofrio, is currently enrolled at Columbia University in the city of New York. Until 1985 it owned B. Altman & Co., but had to sell the store when it was learned that New York charitable foundations could no longer hold commercial retail property; it closed in 1990." from this page because it does not seem directly relevant to the page about Benjamin Altman. It also had no citations or sources. Thoughts? --Thellomerca (talk) 19:34, 11 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
