Name[edit]

Is the name of this company "Benchwarmer" or "Bench Warmer"? The article uses both variations. Also, no sources are given, not even the company's own web site. --Metropolitan90 03:51, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion[edit]

Is it me or does this whole article read like it was written by some junior PR person?--Davidwiz (talk) 00:05, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Jesus Christ, I can't believe they say that it features "uncomely" women. Not only do they not realize what "comely" means, but they put it in the first sentence! Since this article was pretty obviously written by someone involved with the group, I'm tempted to let the current version stand as a reasonable punishment for not knowing the definition of words before you use them, but that just seems too mean -- I'm changing it to "comely," as awkward as even that version is in the current context, considering that "hot" or "sexy" is more what you're going for here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.34.20.34 (talk) 02:56, 16 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The source[edit]

ip address 76.95.138.157 has reinserted "uncomely" numerous times. however, they have also made minor tweaks that are helpful or neutral. Please, if you are a vandal, stop. but if you are actually interested in improving the article, get a dictionary. "comely" means beautiful. uncomely isnt really a word. Ill fix it again. if you revert it, i will report you as a vandal and you will likely be blocked.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 07:11, 20 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Part of the lack of success of this product was the other dealings of Brian Wallos in the card community. I have personal knowledge of his lack of ethics (first edition of Fleer Ultra basketball), and his actions gave him a reputation that no one wanted to have. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.28.158.99 (talk) 21:49, 7 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
