In 2019, Johns, along with fellow professional pickleball players, Dekel Bar and Kyle Yates launched Pickleball Getaways, a company that combines vacations to exotic destinations with pickleball instruction on-site. In 2021, Johns, along with his brother Collin Johns and Dekel Bar, released an instructional video subscription service titled Pickleball 360. That same year, Johns launched a website for cryptocurrency investing. His net worth has been estimated to be around $4 million.
