Near-extinction?

Is this the same species which was ravaged by disease and wiped out except for about 16 survivors which were taken to the Taronga Zoo in Sydney? (Secrets of the Zoo: Down Under, "Lemur Me Alone!", broadcast in the US on the National Geographic Wild channel in March 2020) If so, the article ought to be updated accordingly. — Richwales (no relation to Jimbo) 03:46, 27 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
