ridiculous assertion
[edit]Lying in bed is not "a social media trend". It has been going on for thousands of years and I wholeheartedly hope it continues for many thousands more Don't forget about it (talk) 15:08, 18 February 2024 (UTC)
- Exactly, it's not a trend it's a sign of an underlying mental disorder and can even cause depression. Bed rotting isn't a trend. 65.92.204.239 (talk) 15:39, 14 March 2024 (UTC)
Not a trend
[edit]There is no way bed rotting is a "social media trend". My mom perfected that stuff way back in the 80s, sometimes for days on end . Seriously it's like her butt was glued to the mattress . So just because some "hip teenager" thought was they're doing is a trend , does not make it so. Liljmac (talk) 17:34, 10 November 2024 (UTC)
Relationship with "Couch potato"
[edit]I'm surprised that neither this article or the article for Couch potato link to one another, as they seem to be describing the same phenomenon (a person sitting or lying around on a bed or couch all day entertained by television or computers.) Should they be merged or at least linked? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 158.68.198.142 (talk) 17:15, 23 January 2025 (UTC)
